Zucchini Fries

I was very skeptical when I first heard about Zucchini Fries, but with this recipe, you will not be disappointed. I make sure that it's packed with flavor with the addition of garlic and onion powder. This is extremely easy to make and so much better for you than regular fries.  cooking spray
 2 medium (7-8 oz each) zucchinis, cut into matchstick fries-size
 2 large egg whites
 1/4 tsp salt
 1/4 tsp black pepper
 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
 1/2 tsp garlic powder
 1/2 tsp onion powder
 1/4 tsp paprika
 1/2 cups marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a baking tray with cooking spray.

Whisk together the egg whites with the salt and black pepper in a shallow bowl/plate.

In a separate shallow bowl/plate, mix together the bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Take each zucchini fry, dip it in the egg white mixture, and then into the bread crumb mixture. Make sure that all sides are covered with the bread crumbs and shake off any excess bread crumbs.

Once all the zucchini fries have been prepped, spray the tops with a little cooking spray.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes making sure to rotate half way through. Let them cool down for a couple minutes and enjoy with a side of marinara sauce!
