Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Layer saltines on the tray in a single layer.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and sugar on medium heat until nice and bubbly (about 5 minutes).
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the saltines and smooth over in a single layer.
Place in the oven for about 8 minutes. After the 8 minutes is over, evenly spread the chocolate chips over the saltines and place back in the oven for 2 minutes.
Take the baking sheet out and using a spatula, evenly spread the chocolate across the top. The chocolate should be easy to spread.
Top with any kind of toppings you would like, I did pecan pieces and Valentine's Day sprinkles in honor of Valentine's Day. Enjoy!
