A twist on a classic brownie! I love this Pecan Cranberry Brownie recipe because it's a perfect mix of sweet and tart with a added crunch from the pecans. I love how all the flavors just really work well together not to mention how extremely soft and decadent each piece of brownie is. Make this version of the classic brownie at your next gathering and you will be a hit!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small sauce pan, on medium heat melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, add in the chocolate chips. Mix together until all the chocolate chips are melted, this should take around 3-4 minutes.
Pour butter/chocolate mixture into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Mix together for a few minutes allowing the mixture to cool down before adding the eggs. Mix together so that the eggs are well incorporated into the batter.
Sift together the flour and salt. Add it to the batter and whisk together until no dry flour is seen. Fold in the cranberries and pecans.
Pour batter into a 9x9 greased baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Check that the brownies are baked by inserting a toothpick in the middle and making sure it comes out clean. Enjoy!
