Yields1 ServingPrep Time10 mins

Need a winter favor idea for your next hosting event?! Look no further with these cute and healthy date snowballs! Best part, there is no baking involved so you can whip these up in no time! Side note, you can leave out the chocolate coating and just roll them in powdered sugar or shredded coconut for an even healthier favor/snack option!

 15 dates (pitted)
 0.67 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
 1 cup roasted almonds (unsalted)
 1 tbsp agave
64 melting chocolate (blue Wilton wafers)
1

Soak dates in warm water for at least 5 minutes.

2

In a food processor, pulse the almonds until they are a fine powder. Do not over process the almonds or they will turn into almond butter.

3

Drain and add the dates, cocoa powder, and agave to the food processor. Pulse until everything comes together in your food processor.

4

Create balls with 1 tablespoon each of the date mixture.

5

Melt the chocolate on a double broiler or in the microwave. Dip each ball in the chocolate making sure entire ball is covered. Top with blue sprinkles (optional). Place snowballs on parchment paper to dry. Place in the fridge for about 5 to 10 minutes or until they are completely dry and chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
