Looking for a quicker and simpler dessert idea?! These baked whole apple and pear crumbles are so delicious and quick to make! I have even made mine in a toaster oven to satisfy my craving even faster! Skip the hassle of making a big crumble and stick to this simpler version!

 1 Large Apples (Granny Smith)
 1 Large Pear
 2 tbsp butter (softened)
 2 tbsp brown sugar
 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
 4 tbsp rolled quick oats
 1 tbsp chopped pecans
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 cinnamon powder
 salt
1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2

Cut the pear and apple in half. Pit the middle so all the seeds are taken out and you have a small hole to fit some topping in. Place cut side up on a parchment lined baking tray.

3

Mix together the butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, pecans, cinnamon powder, salt, and vanilla extract. The mixture should look crumbly.

4

Evenly, spoon crumble on all 4 halves (apples and pears). Sprinkle each half of pear or apple with some more cinnamon powder.

5

Bake for 30 mins for firmer apples and pears or for 40 minutes for softer apples and pears. Serve out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an over the top dessert. Enjoy!
