Baked Truffle FriesWho doesn't love a big basket of fries, especially TRUFFLE FRIES?! I know I do, and with my better baked version, you don't have to feel as guilty consuming more than your share. I love how crispy on the outside, soft on the inside these fries are! And with all the spices, yummmmmy! Definitely one of my favorite ways to eat potatoes!Baked Chicken KatsuAs a part of my Better Baked series this month, I have decided to make my first recipe Japanese inspired! I love Chicken Katsu and Japanese Curry (I have a recipe for that already), something about that combo is so good! But if you know how Katsu is traditionally made, then you know it's fried, well this version is just as crispy and tasty without all the oil! Definitely a win in my books!Slow Cooker Kung Pao ChickenI wanted to share my spin on a classic take out item: Kung Pao Chicken. Not only is this a healthier alternative, its made in a slow cooker too! I love how easily this comes together (especially if you have an instant pot) and how deliciously spicy it is with the red pepper flakes and whole red chilis! Who needs take out when you can make this!Slow Cooker Vegan Jackfruit SlidersNeed an idea for meatless Mondays or just curious for more plant based meals, well this recipe is perfect for you! Jackfruit soaks up the BBQ so perfectly and has the perfect texture. With the added crunch of the coleslaw, you will not be disappointed! Who knew jackfruit could taste so good!Slow Cooker Chicken ChiliWhat’s better on a cold, winter day than a hearty chicken chili?! You got me! I love “set it, forget it” types of recipes and this one is no different. A beautifully thick and creamy chili that will definitely warm you right up! I seriously love Slow Cooker recipes, what's your favorite?!Skinny Cashew ChickenCashew chicken was one of my favorite dishes when I went to Thailand (aside from Panang curry and Phad Thai of course)! The sauce for this recipe is so flavorful with just a handful of ingredients. Best part, it only takes 30 minutes to come together! Definitely on rotation in our house!Japanese CurryWho doesn't love meals that taste amazing but only takes 30 minutes to cook?! This Japanese curry with ground turkey tastes exactly like the ones you order at the restaurant with the added pleasure of having cooked it yourself. Please give this quick one-pot meal a try and let me know what you think!Bengali Shrimp Curry / Chingri Macher JholThis Chingri Macher Jhol or Bengali Shrimp Curry is so typical in a Bengali household and I know it was on a rotation for dinner growing up. There are so many variations of it but I find this one to be the simplest and most satisfying! It's so delicious so please give this Bengali dish a try if you haven't already!Butternut Squash and Green Bean CurryI wanted to start making and reviewing certain recipes from recipe books that I own. This one is from a the "I Love Trader Joe's Party Cookbook" that I received as a gift since I do love my Trader Joe's! This recipe was good, but lacked flavor that is often associated with Desi cuisine. I would make it again, but would definitely add more spices!
