Directions

1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2

Bring a big pot of water to boil. Add in the macaroni pasta and broccoli florets. Boil until al dente and then drain. Place the macaroni and broccoli florets into a 13x9 baking dish.

3

Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Once skillet is heated, add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the diced onions and fry until translucent (about 4-5 minutes).

4

Add the flour to the skillet and mix around until no dry flour pieces are seen. Once the flour is no longer dry, add the chicken broth and milk.

5

Once the broth and milk are simmering, add in all your spices (onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper). Also, add in your cooked turkey bacon bits and diced green chilies.

6

Once everything is mixed together, add in your cheddar cheese. Stir around until you are no longer able to see any cheese pieces.

7

Once your cheese sauce is simmer, pour over your pasta and broccoli. Mix until everything is coated in that cheese sauce.

8

Mix together the bread crumbs, fried onions, and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the broccoli mac and cheese.

9

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn your oven to the broil setting and broil for 5 minutes or until you see the breadcrumbs turn a nice golden color on top. Enjoy!
