Baked Chicken Katsu

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray your baking tray with a little bit of oil spray like Pam.

Create a dredging station by putting your flour in a shallow plate, your beaten egg in a separate shallow plate, and your panko crumbs mixed with the sesame seeds, Shichimi Togarashi, salt and pepper in another shallow plate.

Coat 1 thinly sliced chicken breast with flour first, then cover with egg, lastly cover with the panko crumb mixture until all sides are covered, and place on your baking tray. Keep coating the chicken breasts one at a time until you have done them all. Spray the tops with some oil spray like Pam.

Cook in the oven for 15 mins, turning them around once at around 10 mins. Broil for an additional 5 or so minutes to give tops a nice golden color. Enjoy with a side of rice!
